Headstart Swim School Headstart Swim School in Claremont. Our Swim SA registered instructors teach beginner swimming HEADSTART is a Cape Town based .

Our Claremont school opened in May 2006, and is run according to Swimming South Africa approved, Learn-to-swim techniques. We believe that adults and children learn better through having fun in a safe, non-threatening environment. In 2020 we became an approved, Covid Compliant swimming venue and school. We teach learn to swim lessons and stroke correction year round in our indoor, heated pool. SSA

I’m a fully qualified Aqua Fitness instructor. I absolutely love helping people feel confident and strong in the water. My classes are fun, energetic, and designed to leave you feeling like you’ve had a real workout, without the strain on your joints.

Hi, I am Anna Blinda Manyati. l am 32 years old, and l have two children – a girl and a boy. I lived and worked in Pretoria before coming to Cape Town in December 2025. Meet our instructors: Sharne

I was a competitive swimmer and absolutely loved it. Sharing my knowledge, experiences, and passion for swimming with others is something I deeply enjoy. I’m motivated by seeing the progress in the kids I teach, knowing that I’m helping them grow both in and out of the water.
Beyond the pool, I cherish spending time with my family, staying active, and relaxing with my dogs. I also enjoy reading and indulging in a little retail therapy.
I’m passionate about giving back to the community and have a strong interest in working with underprivileged children. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to learn and grow through sports. Additionally, I am eager to further my studies to enhance my skills and knowledge, ensuring that I provide best possible guidance and support to those I teach.
