Most people never get to these reps. They stop when things start to get heavy and uncomfortable.
Which is a pity. Because the last few reps are where the real work happens.
Anyone can move light weights comfortably. But when the burn kicks in - and the reps start to move slowly and demand more attention and focus - those are the ones forcing adaptation.
This is where you push into the zone where muscle will grow (can you see how bulky she is - gross hey?! 🙄)
This isn’t just about building stamina and grinding out ugly reps. This is where the most muscle fibres are recruited.
Where mechanical tension is at its peak and muscles are forced into the adaption you’re training for.
This is quite literally what you’re here for.
And if you’re not pushing to this point - you’re cheating yourself out of the progress you’re chasing.
