As another incredible season comes to an end, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you to every student, family, school, tourist, and supporter who chose to surf with us.

We have truly been blessed with another busy season at Cape Town Surf School, and we are so grateful for every booking, every smiling face, and every unforgettable memory made in the ocean.

Behind every surf lesson are countless hours of preparation, coaching, safety briefings, equipment maintenance, early mornings, late afternoons, and long days spent in the water. Our team gives their all throughout the season, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and passion.

From July through September, our team will be taking a well-deserved winter break. This is our time to rest, recharge, reflect, reset, and refocus so that we can return refreshed and ready for another amazing summer season.

Thank you for being part of our journey and for supporting one of South Africa’s leading surf schools. We can’t wait to welcome you back when the new season begins.

While some businesses spend their days creating content, we spend ours creating experiences.

Don't underestimate Cape Town Surf School.

Sometimes people see a quiet social media page and assume we are not doing lessons.

The reality is quite the opposite.

Every year, we teach thousands of people how to surf. From first-timers standing up on their very first wave to returning clients who come back year after year, our days are spent in the ocean doing what we love most.

That's why there may be times when we don't post as often. Not because we're quiet, but because we're busy teaching, coaching, encouraging, and helping people create memories that last a lifetime.

Our focus has always been on our clients, their safety, their progress, and giving them an unforgettable experience in the water.

So if you don't see us posting every day, don't worry. Chances are we're out there helping the next group of surfers catch their very first wave. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️🤙

Another day, another surf 💚

At Cape Town Surf School, we take pride in our beginner - advanced surf coaches and their commitment to safety, fitness, and professionalism.

To ensure our instructors stay strong, confident, and prepared for all surf conditions, weekly indoor swim training classes are now compulsory for all coaching staff. These sessions help maintain high fitness levels, improve water confidence, and sharpen rescue and endurance skills so we can continue providing safe, high-quality surf lessons to every student.
