It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved teammate and captain of the Khayelitsha Cricket Club Second Team, Sive Vuso.
Sive was more than a captain, he was the heartbeat of our team. He led with humility, courage, and an unshakeable love for the game. On and off the field, he was a steady presence, a mentor to the young players, a motivator when spirits were low, and a friend to every member of our club. His laughter, discipline, and passion for cricket made him a pillar in our community.
Sive played the game the way it was meant to be played: with respect, joy, and heart. His leadership lifted us. His kindness inspired us. His legacy will continue to shape Khayelitsha Cricket Club for many years to come.
Though we mourn his loss deeply, we choose also to celebrate the light he brought into our lives. May we carry forward his spirit, the unity he built, the pride he had in the badge, and the love he showed to everyone around him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Vuso family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in knowing how deeply Sive was admired and loved.
