Congratulations to all the players who have been selected to represent South Africa at the inaugural IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup. A special congratulation to the 5 Western Province Veterans Cricket players selected in the squad of 16, Werner Moolman, Jaco Castle, William Hantam, Muhammad Sohail Imran and Martin van der Merwe. The team will be managed by Wesley Henry, also from Western Province Veterans Cricket.
📣 SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: IMC T20 WORLD CUP 🇿🇦🏆
VCASA is proud to announce its Proteas Veterans Over-40s T20 squad for the inaugural International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over-40s T20 World Cup to be held in Karachi, Pakistan from 01–13 December 2025.
The team will be led by Yasser Ditta of the Lions who takes the reins as captain. Johan Fourie of the Eastern Storm joins him as part of the leadership team as Vice Captain. Both players were pivotal members of the triumphant South African squad that clinched the IMC Over-40s ODI World Cup title 🏆in Cape Town in 2024 and now return to lend their leadership and experience to the Proteas Veterans T20 campaign.
Also returning from the World Cup-winning squad are Werner Moolman (Western Province), Jaco Castle (Western Province) and Lundi Mbane (Border).
