Day 25 of a 30-day breathing challenge ✨

Our attention is constantly pulled in different directions throughout the day.

Today’s practice is a reminder that, for a moment, we can choose to focus on just one thing.

Not to block everything else out.

Just to notice what happens when we give our attention a place to rest. 🌿

What did you choose to focus on today?

Day 24 of a 30-day breathing challenge ✨

Today we’re noticing support.

Our bodies are constantly being supported by the world around us, whether it’s a chair, the floor beneath our feet, or a wall beside us.

Taking a moment to notice these points of support can help us broaden our awareness and connect with our surroundings.

What is supporting you right now? 🌿

Day 23 of a 30-day breathing challenge ✨

Our energy naturally changes throughout the day and from day to day.

Taking a moment to check in can help us become more aware of our patterns and needs.

Today isn’t about having more energy.

It’s about noticing where your energy is right now. 🌿

How is your energy today?

Day 21🧘🏽‍♀️International Day of Yoga 🌍

Today I had the opportunity to experience Bhramari Pranayama, also known as Bee Breath or Humming Breath 🐝

This breathing practice involves making a gentle humming sound during the exhale. The vibration created by the hum can be felt throughout the face, throat, and chest, encouraging us to slow down and pay attention to the breath.

Research has found that humming can increase the production of nitric oxide in the nasal passages, which plays a role in supporting normal nasal function and airflow.

Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practising for years, sometimes the simplest practices can remind us to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the present moment ✨

Day 19 of a 30-day breathing challenge ✨

This week we’ve been exploring our senses.

Today, we’re getting curious about taste.

Our attention shapes what we notice. When we slow down and check in, we may discover sensations that usually go unnoticed.

What did you notice today? 🌿

Thank you for breathing with me 🩷
