Caledonians Roses Rfc is a community based rugby club founded in 1934 in District Six, Cape Town - The 1968 forced removals has meant a relocation of the club to the Cape Flats with many of its playing and non playing members scattered in the relocation process. In 1983, fifteen years after the forced removal process in District Six and after a couple of seasons at Surrey Estate sports field the m

erger with Rangers RFC amicably ended and the club re-emerged and retained its name. During this period the life President, Mr.Cassiem Jabaar together with the many club stalwarts, successfully negotiated the Noll Avenue Sports Ground as the new home of Caledonian Roses RFC. On 22nd November 2022 the club held its Elective Annual General Meeting and the following Executive Members were elected.

Caledonian Rugby Football Club is proud to unveil the addition of several experienced and dynamic coaches to our 2026 coaching staff, strengthening our commitment to excellence across all teams.

Leading the 1st Team is newly appointed Head Coach *Adnan Stemmet* , supported by *Taahir Adams* as Forwards Coach and *Whaleed Williams* overseeing the Backline and Strength & Conditioning.

The 2nd Team welcomes the leadership of *Ganief White* and *Rameez Baradien* , bringing valuable insight and player development focus, while the U20 squad will be guided by *Jason Williams* , dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Callies talent. These additions mark an exciting new chapter as the club continues to build a strong and competitive future.
