Camps Bay Kayak and SUP

Come join us this coming Friday or Saturday for an ocean adventure!

Our trips start from Camps Bay main beach where we head out to the open ocean before traversing towards Bakoven, we then stop at a secluded beach (signaling our halfway point) where you can stretch your legs and for those bold enough, there is an option to jump off a boulder into the refreshing Atlantic Ocean!
We then get back onto the water, chat a bit about the history of Camps Bay, and also share some info about the kelp forest before making our way back to the start point.
The trip duration from start to finish is approximately 1hr 45mins and costs R400 p/p.
No prior paddling experience is needed, all relevant training and equipment is provided and qualified guides will accompany you on your trip!

Thankfully the wind drops over the next few days!

We have trips running at 9am and 11am on Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th of March (Sunday is fully booked!). Give us a shout if you'd like to join...

We launch from Camps Bay main beach and paddle to Bakoven where we land on a secluded beach. At this halfway stop, we get to stretch the legs with the option of leaping off a jump rock into the refreshing Atlantic Ocean.

We'll share some info about the history of Camps Bay as well as the thriving kelp forests in the area before embarking on our return journey to Camps Bay main beach.

Hello and welcome to our page. We offer fun guided kayak trips from Camps Bay beach to Bakoven along the beautiful Atlantic Seaboard coastline in Cape Town. Explore, kelp forests, soak up the views of table mountain and the 12 apostles from the ocean. For the more adventurous at heart, take a leap off a jump rock into the crystal clear waters surrounding Bakoven beach.

Kayak and SUP rentals are also available - weather conditions dependent and limited to the bay only.
