PGRC-Peninsula Girls Rowing Club PGRC is Cape Town’s oldest rowing club for girls, dedicated to growing junior women’s rowing

Mission statement :
To develop rowing amongst high school girls in the Western Cape in an environment that fosters team spirit, collaboration and fun, producing well-balanced young women with a strong work ethic. We strive to create a safe environment where young girls can develop a love of rowing and participate in the sport throughout their lifetime, by providing professional coaching, well-mai

ntained equipment and training facilities. We underpin: Healthy lifestyle, instilling the love of rowing, a culture of sportsmanship, team spirit, personal discipline. Rowing is a sport unlike any other – it teaches athletes to constantly push themselves and each other to achieve their goals while forming lifelong friendships and memories in the process.
