WESTERN PROVINCE HANDBALL SHINES AT NATIONAL JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 🇿🇦
Western Province Handball delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 National Junior SA Handball Championships, held in Kroonstad, Free State, on 7–8 March 2026.
Competing against 7 provinces from across South Africa, the Western Province teams showed exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork on the national stage.
🥇 U20 Boys – National Champions
The Western Province U20 team were crowned National Champions, finishing 1st place after a dominant tournament performance.
🥈 U17 Boys – National Silver Medalists
The U17 team secured an impressive 2nd place, earning the silver medal after battling through a highly competitive field
Both teams represented the province with pride, discipline, and high-quality handball, showcasing the growing strength of the sport in the Western Cape.
