📅 2026/2027 SEASON CALENDAR
The 2026/2027 season calendar can be seen in the attached document. Please take note of the important information below regarding participation and qualification.

👤 ATHLETE AFFILIATION
Athletes are required to affiliate for the 2026/2027 season through the SAMPA portal.

Affiliation is important as it is one of the requirements for participation in the Western Cape Championships.

🏃♂️🏊♂️🎯 LEAGUE EVENTS
Athletes must complete a minimum of TWO league events in the respective discipline in order to qualify for the Western Cape Championships.
The District Championships will also count as a league event.
There will be the following league opportunities during the season:
🏊 Biathle – 5 league opportunities
🏊🎯 Triathle – 5 league opportunities
🏃🎯 Laser Run – 6 league opportunities

All entries for league events must be completed through the SAMPA portal:

💰 League Entry Fees
• Affiliated athletes: No R100 league entry fee will be payable.
• Non-affiliated athletes: R100 per league event.
We therefore encourage athletes to affiliate early and make use of the available league opportunities throughout the season.

🏆 WESTERN CAPE CHAMPIONSHIPS – QUALIFICATION
To qualify for the Western Cape Championships, athletes must:
✅ Be affiliated for the 2026/2027 season
✅ Have completed a minimum of 2 league events in the respective discipline
✅ Meet the Western Cape qualifying times for the respective discipline
The Western Cape qualifying times will be shared again.

📌 WESTERN CAPE CHAMPIONSHIPS DATE
The date for the Western Cape Championships has not yet been officially confirmed.
Once the date has been confirmed, we will communicate it to everyone.
📅 Provisional date: 6 March 2027
