FDDCMSA – About Us

The Federation of Dance Drill, Cheerleading and Majorette Sport South Africa (FDDCMSA) is a national body that offers dance drill, colour guard, marching bands, majorette sport, baton & cheerleading to all youth in the Republic of South Africa; and is a fully recognized member of the International Association of Majorette-Sport (IAM). The National executive and Provincial administrators are highly experienced and passionate about the holistic development and empowerment of athletes through youth centred extra-curricular school activities. We focus on the interests of our affiliated members and the development and growth of all the branches encompassed under our banner. We embrace a non-racial and gender-neutral culture and, together we continue to build an inclusive organisation which encourages, supports and celebrates the diverse voices of our members. We believe that this fuels innovation and connects us closer to our members and the communities we serve. Our members live to PERFORM, they execute with PRECISION and they strive for PERFECTION at all times.

Make sure you know where you need to be and which routes to follow before taking to the field.

🔵 BLUE – Mini Formation Field

Please use the designated entry points and follow the marked “March Off” routes to keep the competition moving smoothly.

📸 URGENT – SEMI-FINALS & FINALS PHOTOGRAPHY BOOKINGS 📸

Participants who wish to have professional photographs taken at the Semi-Finals or Finals will be required to purchase a minimum number of photographs from the Prelims.

Once the required number of Prelims photographs has been purchased, participants must book their photography slot at the photobooth to secure their place for the Semi-Finals or Finals.

Please note: Your Semi-Finals or Finals photography slot will only be confirmed once the required Prelims photographs have been purchased and your slot has been booked at the photobooth.
