السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
I have no words to explain how i feel... as I'm getting ready to leave Istanbul with my team, emotions running high. Leaving here with feelings & emotio.ns that's never felt before Alhamdulillah.
2007 I came to understand the importance ofqq2b archery from an Islamic perspective. I Learnt from some Hadeeth how significant it is and the importance of studying and learning this skill of Arrimaayah In the Islamic faith and culture
Unfortunately, from 2007 to 2020 I got caught up with life & work. My heart always burning for archery and never getting the opportunity to start.
2020 Alhamdulillah, I unexpectedly came into horseback archery, Riding a horse ba****ck
& having a bow in my hand & throwing an arrow, I'll never ever forget that feeling, doing both for the first time in my life as well as getting a taste and little bit of understanding of the spiritual dimensions of Archery Alhamdulillah.
Through some research & study of some hadeeth & Mamluk Archery manuscripts as well as taking some lessons from some teachers, I came to understand what my approach should be. I then also found out about Okçula Vakfi, how it was established & what it stands for. I've been trying to make contact and connection with Okçula Vakfi since then Alhamdulillah
It has been an honor and a privilege for us to be invited to participate in the 14th Conquest Cup, through the Qudrah of ALLAH, HE has made it such that we connected in 2026 Alhamdulillah.
We look forward to many more in shaa ALLAH
Thank you.... Shukran.... Jazakumullah ghairan for a great, well organized, world class competition. The standard you set is extremely high maa shaa ALLAH... how to achieve this standard is only in the hands of ALLAH and you are being favored by ALLAH in this effort Alhamdulillah.
Although we are very fresh & new like a "new born baby", we hope and pray that we can host an international competition in Cape Town South Africa on this level one day in shaa ALLAH.
Once again, thank you to the President Mr Hussain, Vice President Mr Mehmet Fatih, all Directors and All staff especially Aunty Nurjihaan and staff in the kitchen for feeding us daily.
Also, Thank you to all the archers from all the different countries... especially the ones we met & interacted with, beautiful personalities maa shaa ALLAH...
