The DC & Spring Training has officially kicked off! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

The teams have been split, and the fun has begun! With amazing weather, breathtaking picturesque scenery, and like-minded people, how could it be anything but fun?

Early mornings, spinning wheels, challenging climbs, long roads, teamwork, laughter, and plenty of kilometres ahead — this is what cycling is all about!

Pedal by pedal, kilometre by kilometre, we train together, grow stronger together, and chase every finish line together. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️💚

We were truly blessed with beautiful weather this weekend. Spring is just around the corner, the DC is on the horizon, and Spring Training is about to kick off! 🌸🚴🏻‍♀️

So, it’s time to dust off the bike, iron out those creased cycling kits, get your gear ready and 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒖𝒑 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆! ⭐️

About this weekend…

We braved the cold, packed our bikes, headed to our respective meeting points, and before long, the pace and the chatter had us warmed up.

There’s something special about like-minded people on bicycles—riding together, chatting, catching up on the week, stopping for a hot beverage, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It’s about so much more than just the ride.

Before you know it, winter will be behind us, spring will arrive, and the warmer, sunnier days will be back. But if you wait until then, your legs might not be ready for the pace. While everyone else is staying under the blankets, we’re still showing up, putting in the work, and enjoying every kilometre.

So, come on… we’re waiting for you!

What a weekend it was! ☀️🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️
The sun was shining, and our members were out in force across different parts of Cape Town, making the most of the beautiful winter weather.

Some of our riders embraced the trails with an exhilarating mountain bike ride—cold, bright, muddy, challenging, and absolutely worth every kilometre!

Others enjoyed the iconic Peninsula routes, stopping along the way to share great conversations over delicious hot coffee and a well-deserved light meal.

A special congratulations to our members who Cycled from Cape Town to Knysna to take part in the Knysna Cycle Tour, representing our club with pride in both the mountain bike and road races. Your dedication, determination, and passion for cycling are truly inspiring.

Well done to every rider who braved the cold, pushed through the kilometres, and crossed the finish line. Whether you rode for fun, fitness, friendship, or a podium finish, every pedal stroke is an achievement.
