Welcome to all our new followers! We thought we would introduce ourselves and our story. 2020 was a year that took us all by storm, forced us to pivot in a matter of days and find new ways of doing things and new passions. Which is where Move Studio Barre was born. Our love for barre, movement and having fun - led us to starting our very own online barre workouts. Never in our wildest dreams, would we think we are still here - 2 years later and expanding into more in-person studio classes with adding on instructors! Talk about the power of manifestation and following your passion!

We hope that 2022 is a year for all of us to focus on power, progress, and most importantly kindness!! 🌞

And that’s a wrap! 2021 - you have been one massive rollercoaster. Lots of challenges and lots of growth! We are excited to welcome 2022 🔥.

We are ok holiday and will be back in action on the new year.

We hope you all have the most magical moments with family and friends. Spend time recharging and focusing on you for a change! Read a book, take a swim in the ocean- make chocolate brownies!

It Is December, and we now what that means for those in the souther hemisphere. Sunshine, beach, family time, eating delicious snacks and drinking even better cocktails.

We know it can be very tricky to squeeze in some you time - let alone - make it to the gym. And some of you may be going away with loved ones without access to your usual training set up. Which is why we are focusing this month on Barre Where You Are. 30-45 minute sessions that will make your heart rate raise and your bums and tums burn!! You can enjoy those cocktails without the guilt of losing the progress you’ve made all year.

We have a library of workouts that you can select - some slow paced, some intense cardio bursts, some even using dish clothes to get those arms working! There is NO excuse as we have made it super simple for you to work out when you want and from wherever you want!

As we wind down towards the end of the year, there is always this mad rush to focus on having the perfect bikini body, the flat abs or the little cherry shaped bum. AND WE GET IT. It is all over social media, constant messages about "eat this to look like her" or "train like this to reduce 10% body fat"

At Move Studio, we believe in celebrating all shapes, forms and ages. We turn to exercise as a release, as a safe space, as time dedicated to working on ourselves for ourselves. We laugh, we make jokes and we have fun whilst we BURN. 🔥🥵

Whilst we enter the last few weeks of 2021, we encourage you to focus on loving yourself, loving your body and moving your body in a way that brings you happiness. Sign up to one of our barre classes, go for that run or take your doggies for a walk. Whatever you do, focus on health and happiness 💜💕💞

21 Day Lockdown Challenge
Starting next Wednesday 7th July until Wednesday 28th July.

You and your bestie sign up onto our online members page group for only R150 each for 3 weeks. Just DM us or visit our website and sign up- link in bio! Already a full member? - no problem your friend can join for the 3 weeks for just R150!

Then let's get sweaty...
In 21 days let's get lockdown abs and glutes of steel!
We want to see progress pics please! insta images, funny pics on where move studio online has taken you and what hurts ha ha. Tag us and your friend who you are in the challenge with.
Best (and most) pics and progress will win- when we say progress we want reaching the 21 classes goal- a class a day - (no fret we have 10 minute blast classes and stretch classes- a class for every mood and feel) . The more interactive you are on the private members group- comment on the classes and like the ones you do- the higher your chances are of winning. And obviously the more you post on Instagram tagging us in your sweaty pics the better!
