BAC had a hand-full of members attend The Barberton Paragliding Open 2026.

Team B's and A C comprising of, Brain Harte, Mark Millar, Zane & Ollie Esplin held their own winding up a respectable 5th team overall.

On the solo front, Zane Esplin lead the way on his UP Summit-X ending up 2nd in the intermediate (EN-B) class.

The comp comprised of 5 valid tasks and off days spent exploring the hills on adventure bikes.
Well done to All Mountain Aero for the great event.

Rob Brown recently spent some time in the alps and grabbed the opportunity to join in on a vol-biv course hosted by X-Alps athlete Kinga Masztalerz.

Rob will give us an overview of his time in the alps and discuss the basics required for a successful vol-biv adventure.
