Message from our President Mark Bartlett:

Good afternoon fellow members
As most of you know, our club was selected to host the District Singles semi-finals and finals for the Ladies and Men’s Open and Veterans yesterday. We received many compliments on the conditions of our greens, the awesome catering and the excellent and slick organising of the day’s events.
Massive thanks to Audrey and her kitchen and bar teams; Wayne and grounds staff for presenting such great greens, Theo, Tony & Wayne for the breakfast rolls and the Boerie roll. A massive thanks to Bruce for printing the players welcome banner- it was undeniably appreciated by all the players! Lastly, a huge thanks to those ladies and men that volunteered to mark and work the flip-boards. You all did a fine job, and made us proud!
Again, we have proven that we are capable of hosting any bowling event, professionally and with style, the true Brackenhurst way!
Great team work!

Yesterday was an absolutely epic day at our Happy Place. We were privileged to host the semi-finals and finals of the EkB men's and ladies singles. We were treated to a feast of spectacular bowls with nail biting finishes. Congratulations to all the participants - you are all winners!

A huge thank you to Theo Hardiman, for taking the initiative to repair the pot holes in Atmore and Malherbe streets en route to the club. The locals were ever so grateful. This is the second time that Theo has undertaken to do what our municipaljty fails to do.
