Honingklip MTB Trail 4 MTB trails catering for all levels. Novice to expert. Incredible views. GREEN. 7.8km, 180m ascent (climbing), mostly farm gravel roads.

BLUE. 11 km, 260m ascent (climbing) Berms, switch backs, drop offs, good level of fitness required. Reasonable level of fitness required. RED. 16.6km, 454m ascent (climbing), mostly single track, some jeep track, Berms, switch backs, drop offs, good level of fitness required. BLACK. 28km, 780 m ascent( climbing) some single track, some jeep track, technical descent. Berms, switch backs, drop offs, very good level of fitness required.

We have been a little quiet this year due to various reasons 🙄

Over the last few days we have been busy cleaning up the Green, Blue and Red trails for you to come enjoy over the holiday period.

Apologies to those who have come riding and had to deal with branches, twigs etc… that damn SE wind has been causing havoc everywhere!

The Black trail is definitely rideable but not quite as good as we would like. Will he paying attention to that in the new year.

Honingklip MTB Trail is now looking great.. Riding very very nicely.
If a a 20 km fun and challenging trail tickles your fancy.. book a ride. You will not be disappointed. One or two spots still need attention but overall this is a must do on anybodies biking list.
Thanks to Richard and his team for creating this really really fantastic trail.

WE ARE OPEN :-)

Green, Blue and Red routes are open.

Black is still closed due to big holes on some of the mountain roads.

We have almost completed cutting and raking everything. What has not yet been done is 100% rideable.

So come along and have a good day out riding for only R50 per person. Have a lekker beer and Pizza Honingklip Brewery after you ride :-)

With the rain and wind earlier this week we had to effect some farm building repairs which means the MTB trails had to take a back burner 🥲

We are also coming across more damage in places than anticipated so repairs are taking longer…. Please be patient with us. The riding experience will be worth the wait!
