A huge thank you to Laerskool Dagbreek and Verre-Wes Rugby for hosting an outstanding first clinic on Saturday. Your hospitality, organisation and commitment to the development of our young players are greatly appreciated. 👏

The regional teams came together, competed hard and created an excellent platform for identifying and developing the next generation of Golden Lions players.

The Golden Lions Primary Schools Rugby Union extends its sincere congratulations to the Free State Primary Schools Rugby Association on hosting an outstanding 2026 U13 Craven Week and Academy Week.

Thank you for your exceptional hospitality, meticulous organisation and the passion with which you showcased this prestigious tournament. It was a fantastic week of quality rugby, sportsmanship and unforgettable memories for every player, coach, official and supporter.

We are honoured to accept the responsibility of hosting the 2027 U13 Craven Week in Johannesburg and look forward to welcoming all unions. We will strive to build on the excellent standard set by Free State and deliver an event worthy of this proud tradition.

Golden Lions U13B 19 🆚 19 Boland U13B

🤝 The match ended 19–19, but the Golden Lions U13B side claimed the victory by virtue of scoring the last points of the match, securing the result under the tournament's tie-break regulations.

What a thrilling contest! The boys showed incredible resilience, composure and belief, fighting until the very end. When it mattered most, they kept their heads, backed themselves and found the decisive score to earn the win.

This result is a testament to the character of this team. They never gave up, continued to battle for one another and were rewarded for their determination.

Congratulations to our players, coaches and management on another outstanding performance. Keep making the Golden Lions proud!

This group has represented the Golden Lions with pride throughout the week, displaying courage, resilience, teamwork and an unwavering commitment to one another. They have grown with every match and finished the tournament in the best possible way.
