🦁 GLRU U.13 CRAVEN WEEK & ACADEMY WEEK SQUADS ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to the players and management teams selected to represent the Golden Lions at the prestigious U.13 Craven Week and U.13 Academy Week, taking place at Grey College, Bloemfontein from 29 June to 3 July 2026.

The Muscle (A) and Majestic (B) teams will proudly carry the GLRU badge as they compete against some of the best young rugby talent in South Africa.

Selection to these teams is a testament to the commitment, dedication and hard work shown throughout the season. We are confident that you will represent the Golden Lions with pride, sportsmanship and passion.

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, coaches, mentors, and father figures who help shape the lives of our young Lions.

Thank you for the early mornings, the sideline support, the encouragement after tough losses, and the celebrations after hard-earned victories. Your guidance, sacrifice, and example teach our players lessons that go far beyond the rugby field.

To every dad who has driven to training, washed muddy kit, cheered from the stands, and helped build character in our young athletes – we salute you.
