Why Klipfontein United Needs You
To our incredible community, supporters, and potential partners,
Since 1991, the green and gold of Klipfontein United Rugby Club has stood for one thing: Never Quit.
What started as a quiet dream in our small town has grown into a powerful heartbeat of hope, passion, and resilience.
For years, we have put in the hard work, slowly but steadily rising through the ranks.
Against the odds, our dedication has paid off on the field: we proudly ended 1st in the first round of the EPRU Grand Challenge Bottom 12!
We aren’t just playing rugby anymore; we are actively building something truly special.
But as any small-town club knows, talent and grit can only take you so far when the roads are long and the resources are thin.
While our professional ambitions are higher than ever, our geographic reality brings major financial hurdles.
Surrounded by small towns, our pool of local corporate sponsors is limited.
Right now, our biggest opponent isn't on the field—it’s the daily cost of keeping the dream alive.
Every single week, we struggle to cover the basic essentials, most notably transportation to get our players safely to and from training.
When players can’t physically get to the field, we can't build the team that our community deserves.
This is where we need to stand together.
We firmly believe that together we are stronger—and that the biggest impacts often come from the smallest towns.
Introducing: The United 100 Campaign
To keep our momentum going and fuel our rise, we are launching The United 100.
Our Goal: We are looking for 100 people (or businesses) to commit to contributing R100 or more for the next 2 months.
* Why R100? It’s a modest amount on its own, but when 100 of us stand united, it creates a formidable force.
* Where will it go? Directly toward our daily running costs, keeping our players on the field, and securing the transportation needed for weekly training.
