The ATA SA African Cup Challenge is now officially a Class A Plus Event — one of only three tournaments in the world with this elite status!
✨ Compete for higher ranking points:

Your results will count toward the 2026–2027 international season — and you may use points from two Class A Plus events per year.

ATA Songahm Taekwondo South Africa - VMA Achievements

This past weekend was a remarkable one for ATA Vanguard Martial Arts (VMA), with our students showcasing their dedication, skill, and spirit at two prestigious events.

Africa Big 5 Tournament of Champions 2025
Date: Saturday, 27 September 2025
VMA entered with 17 participants and achieved outstanding results:
• Gold: 28
• Silver: 23
• Bronze: 8
• Teams: 4 Gold & 2 Silver

Each Gold medal earned at this event awarded our students the prestigious ATA South African Champion Title in their respective divisions — a truly outstanding accomplishment.

Grand Opening Tournament Season 2026
Date: Sunday, 28 September 2025
VMA competed with 13 participants and once again delivered exceptional performances:
• Gold: 26
• Silver: 17
• Bronze: 7
• Teams: 3 Gold, 4 Silver & 1 Bronze

A huge congratulations to all our students who competed, pushed their limits, and represented VMA with pride. Your hard work and dedication continue to inspire us all.
