It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a legend of a man "Oom Bes"!!😥❤ Unfortunately Bes passed away on Saturday from covid 19 complications.
Oom Bes has been a medic with ECHS faithfully and professionally for 25 years! He has always been a friendly and heartwarming face next to the field, going above and beyond taking care of injuries and everyone from the ECHS family!
Oom Bes you will be missed dearly!!
From all of the ECHS family...WE LOVE YOU and know you are in a better place in the Kingdom of God❤🙌🏻

Just a little recap of 2020 thus far...🤗

Life has thrown us a bit off a curve ball with the emergence of the Corona Virus in SA and stopping all our holiday coaching clinics and weekly coaching in their tracks. But we have so much to be grateful for....we have already made so many big steps this year as players and coaches!🙌🏻💃🏻
Our theme this year, is all about being a tree steadily planted, with God being our roots and giving us all the water we need to grow and prosper!
Remember that, while we are in these difficult times self isolating. Life is merely shaking our branches....but our roots are safely planted with God!🙏🏻
Take this time at home and practice, practice, practice! Practice those little tricks and skills you have always wanted to do. Now is the time!💪🏻🏑
When its all over we will come back stronger than ever, as beter hockey players, coaches and people!
We can't wait to get back out on that field with you all! But for now, do what you can and just
BE A TREE!!🌳✝️

ECHS took a little girls trip this weekend...whooo!💃🏻
Lee, Tanya and Tannie Elsie headed down to Hoërskool Brandwag in Uitenhage, to coach their first team and u/16's with the start of their season around the corner.
And what a warm welcome we received!

We worked with these amazing group of kids and coaches for a short 2 days, but oh how we loved our quick visit. So much promise shown by these young players and teams.
We also identified a hand picked few to join us in the Netherlands at the end of the year.

Thank you Hoërskool Brandwag for the best weekend!💪🏻🏑
