Real Athletes Tennis Academy prides itself as one of the top tennis academies in the country. We coach a vast variety of players from beginners to professional. We provide individual private tennis lessons as well as multiple group squads catered for all levels of tennis. We highly encourage our players to compete in local, national and international tournaments where coaches travel with the playe

rs and support them at their matches. We are located at three venues in Gauteng; Bedfordview Country Club, Northern Suburbs in Rosebank and King David Linksfield. At just 11 years old, Timmy has shown incredible discipline, dedication and determination, but what truly makes him stand out is his genuine love and passion for tennis. 💙

RATA would like to wish Danielle Chapman all the best on her new adventure.

A huge congratulations to our Real Athletes Tennis Academy players, Phemelo Kedige and Koketso Lephotho, on competing in their very first ITF tournaments this week in Botswana! 🌟
Koketso fought his way to the Boys’ Singles Semifinals, while Pumela reached the Girls’ Singles Quarterfinals — an incredible achievement in their first-ever ITF experience! 🔥
We couldn’t be prouder of you both. Your hard work, dedication and courage to step onto the ITF stage have already paid off.

From an 11-year-old with a dream to a 25-year-old professional tennis player representing South Africa on the world stage. 🎾🇿🇦
Alec Beckley has been part of the RATA family for over a decade, and watching his journey unfold has been nothing short of incredible. From growing up on our courts to travelling the world, competing professionally and achieving so much along the way, he continues to make us incredibly proud. 🌍💙
Alec Beckley is currently in Poland competing on the professional circuit and will be back home in September for a week of training at Real Athletes Tennis Academy as he prepares to represent South Africa at the Davis Cup. 🇿🇦🔥
It’s a privilege to have watched this young boy grow into the incredible athlete and person he is today. His journey is a reminder of what can happen when talent meets hard work, discipline, perseverance and belief.
