5 things shaking in Pilates means:

1. Your muscles are switching on properly. Shaking happens when your nervous system is recruiting more muscle fibres to hold a position. It means the exercise is working.

2. You are training deep stabilising muscles. Pilates targets the smaller, deeper muscles that don’t get used much. When they wake up, they shake.
