This past Sunday, another fantastic morning of water polo took place at St Dominic’s as our young players continued to develop their skills, build confidence and represent their clubs with pride!

Results:

🤽 Rams 1 vs Rams 2 — 6:5
🤽 Stags Deers vs Stags Does — 11:4
🤽 Just Polo vs Panthers — 9:4
🤽 Stags Does vs Rams 2 — 5:4
🤽 Stags Deers vs Panthers — 9:3
🤽 Rams 1 vs Just Polo — 10:7

More important than the results was seeing players growing in confidence, putting their training into practice and enjoying every minute in the pool.

The smiles, sportsmanship and determination on display are exactly what the U13 Winter League is all about.

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, parents, officials and supporters who continue to make these game days such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone back in action for the next round!

The excitement continues this Sunday as our young athletes head back to the pool for another action-packed morning of water polo!

With every game, players are growing in confidence, developing their skills and building friendships that extend beyond the pool deck. It’s more than just competition—it’s about learning, teamwork and creating a love for the game.

🧦🎨 EGSWP IPT 2026 SOCK DESIGN COMPETITION! 🎨🧦

Calling all EGSWP players — this is your chance to leave your mark on IPT 2026!

In partnership with Staunch Water Polo, Eastern Gauteng Schools Water Polo is inviting players to design the official IPT 2026 team socks.

The winning design could be worn by EGSWP teams as they represent our region at IPT!

🌟 Young players are especially encouraged to get involved. Show off your creativity, your team spirit, and your vision for what
EGSWP should look like on the national stage.

Competition Requirements:

✅ Must include both the EGSWP and Staunch logos
✅ Submit your design as a high-resolution PDF or vector file
✅ All design elements must be included and editable

📅 Closing Date: 30 June 2026

It was wonderful to see players and teams continuing to grow in confidence, gain valuable match experience and go from strength to strength with every game.

The highlight of the day? Seeing the smiles on the players’ faces as they realised just how much their skills are improving. 🤽🏻‍♂️ 🤽
