⭐Who I Am: I'm a passionate advocate for the power of movement in our lives. My journey with movement began as a personal quest for balance, strength, and inner p

eace. Over the years, I've immersed myself in various movement disciplines, and it's been an exhilarating adventure that's shaped who I am today.

⭐Why I Love Movement: Movement isn't just a physical endeavour for me; it's a way of life. It's a path to understanding our bodies, minds, and spirits on a deeper level. The movement has the incredible capacity to heal, empower, and connect us to our true potential. It's my love for this transformative process that drives me every day.

⭐What I Teach: At Moving Warriors, I specialise in Budokon Mixed Movement Arts. This unique practice blends yoga, martial arts, animal locomotion, mobility, and more. It's about pushing boundaries, discovering new abilities, and becoming the best version of yourself.

Move like water.

Soft enough to adapt.
Fluid enough to change direction.
Strong enough to keep moving through resistance.

Because the best movers aren’t rigid, they can respond, redirect and reshape themselves without losing control.

And over time, even water wears away rock.

Being exceptional at something doesn’t automatically make you qualified to lead others through it.

Coaching requires more than skill.

It requires patience. Empathy. Communication. Self-awareness. The ability to put your ego aside and meet another person when they are not where you think they should already be.

A great coach doesn’t just see what someone can do today. They see what that person could become, sometimes long before the person can see it themselves.

And that kind of responsibility shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Talent can make someone worth learning from.

Character, patience and the ability to genuinely develop others are what make someone worth being led by.

Open mat kind of Friday đŸ„‹

A little rolling, a little problem solving, a lot of learning. Always grateful for spaces where I get to move, test myself and keep getting better.

POV: you built the foundations
 now you get to play.

These skills don’t come from just throwing yourself at the end result. There are progressions, strength, mobility, coordination and a whole lot of repetition behind the fun stuff.

That’s the part I coach, preparing your body so you can move with more freedom, confidence and options.

Also, please don’t judge the chaotic studio playlist 😂

There’s a fine line between standing in your truth and simply protecting a story you’ve become attached to.

Maybe growth is having the courage to find out which one you’re doing.

This one isn’t really about movement. Or maybe it is, just a different kind.

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately is how to stay yourself when you’re surrounded by different personalities, opinions, energies, and ways of communicating.

Not everyone will have the sensitivity you have or read a room the way you do. Not everyone will understand why something affects you deeply.

And learning that has taught me something important:

You don’t need to become harder to handle people better.

You can be sensitive and still have boundaries.
Compassionate and still say no. Open-hearted without giving everyone unlimited access to you. Confident without needing everyone to understand you.

Sometimes strength is simply knowing yourself well enough that someone else’s behaviour doesn’t get to decide who you become.

Movement will always be a huge part of what I do, but I’m interested in the whole human behind the body too, psychology, behaviour, emotional intelligence, resilience and what actually helps us show up better in our lives.

Strong body. Strong mind. Soft enough to feel. Grounded enough to stay yourself.

That’s the kind of strength I’m interested in.

Quality of movement has become something I value more and more over the years.

Not because every movement needs to look perfect, but because the way we move shapes the way we perform.

It’s easy to chase harder sessions, heavier weights or more intensity. But if we never improve the quality behind those movements, we’re often building on an unstable foundation.

To me, quality of movement is about control, awareness and intention.

It’s learning to move well before moving more.

Whether you’re a fighter, athlete or simply want to stay capable for life, these are the qualities that carry over into everything else.

This is why movement is at the heart of how I coach.
Move well. Perform well. Stay capable.
