OFFICIAL NETBALL TOURNAMENT INVITATION

Ekasi Foundation proudly invites your team to participate in the Dipaliseng Netball Top 16 U17 Tournament, a celebration of young talent, passion, and community development through sport.

This tournament aims to provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their abilities, build confidence, and compete in a positive and inspiring environment while promoting unity and growth within our community.

Tournament Details:
Dates: 28 March – 04 April 2026
Venue: Joe Slovo Grounds, Balfour Siyathemba
Affiliation Fee: R700 per team

Prizes:
🥇 1st Place: Full Kit + Trophy + R3000
🥈 2nd Place: Training Equipment
🏅 Individual Trophies:

- Player of the Tournament
- Best Defender
- Best Shooter
- Most Disciplined Player

We believe this tournament will not only be a competition but also an opportunity to inspire young girls to dream big, stay focused, and build a brighter future through sport.

We started this foundation because we saw too many talented young people lose their way due to drugs, crime, and lack of opportunities. We knew something had to change. Instead of watching dreams fade, we chose to build a platform where talent can grow, confidence can be restored, and purpose can be discovered.

Statement by the Founder – Ekasii Foundation

My name is Collen Nhlapo, and I am the founder of Ekasii Foundation. This organisation was not established for profit, but with a deep commitment to giving back to the community and creating opportunities for young people to showcase their talents to the world.

I started Ekasii Foundation after witnessing the painful loss of many of my friends to gangsterism, substance abuse, and negative social influences. These were young people who were gifted, passionate, and full of potential. Unfortunately, the environments we grew up in did not always nurture those talents, and many dreams were lost along the way. Their stories became my motivation to create a platform that offers hope, direction, and opportunity to the next generation.

Ekasii Foundation exists to redirect the energy of our youth toward positive development through sport, mentorship, and community programmes. We believe that talent is everywhere in our kasi, but opportunity is not. Our mission is to bridge that gap by providing structured activities that build discipline, confidence, teamwork, and purpose.

Through tournaments, development initiatives, and partnerships, we aim to keep young people engaged, inspired, and focused on building better futures for themselves. We want to show them that their background does not define their destiny, and that success is possible when communities come together to support and uplift one another.

Ekasii Foundation is more than an organisation—it is a movement to restore hope, celebrate talent, and build a future where our youth choose growth over destruction, dreams over despair, and purpose over peer pressure.
