September is Su***de Awareness Month, and this image is an important reminder that we can’t always see what someone is carrying beneath the surface. 💛

A person may look okay, smile, go to work, laugh with friends, and say “I’m fine” — while quietly struggling with pain, hopelessness, anxiety, trauma, or thoughts of su***de.

That’s why checking in matters. Don’t be afraid to ask someone how they’re really doing. Listen without judgement. Take them seriously. Remind them that they don’t have to face difficult moments alone.

Sometimes the most important thing we can offer is simply our time, our attention, and a safe space to talk.
