The Inspiring Hope Run and Sunshine Productions are excited to announce a partnership with Ridwell to help reduce the amount of trash going into our landfills. Ridwell’s twice monthly service collects stuff that can’t go into your curbside bin but CAN still be recycled or reused.

On Race Day – Saturday, May 11th – we will be collecting the following items for recycling at the Start/Finish line. Look for the green fabric pop up bins to drop off your items!

MULTI LAYER PLASTIC – Examples include: clean food storage bags, pet food bags, frozen food bags, plastic coffee bags, etc. These items will be recycled into drainage materials by Hydroblox!

PLASTIC FILM – Examples include: shipping bags (can you say Amazon?), plastic bags, air pillows, outer wrapping plastic, etc. These items will be turned into new decking material by Trex!

PLASTIC CLAMSHELL CONTAINERS - #1 PET clear plastic clamshell containers including clean salad containers, fruit and berry containers, clear takeout containers, plastic herb containers, etc. These items will be turned into reusable raw material for new clamshells!

FOR A FULL LIST of what can be dropped off within these categories please visit www.ridwell.com/what-we-take Please note that we will only be taking items from the three categories above.

Interested in your very own Ridwell pickup subscription? The first SIX people to use this link when they sign up will receive a FREE MONTH of service. 😊 sea.ridwell.com/PENNY29

This year we are offering two ways to honor those that inspire you on Race Day.

First - this (much clearer irl) banner will greet you when you come to pick up your bib and timing chip with plenty of markers available to write the name(s) of those that you hold close as you run or walk. Be sure to snap a few photos pointing out your loved ones on the completed banner at the end of the race.

Second - Your finishers medal will have a blank spot on the spinning center for you to write the name(s) or even tape a small photo (just shy of 2" square) of those that Inspire You.

Can't wait to see you at Kamiak HS on Saturday, May 11th!
