IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Runners, wine lovers, joggers, and just about anyone else - hello!

It has been a while. We are sad to announce that our beloved company - Wild Wine Run - will cease activities.

After two years of closures, restrictions, and life changes, we had to make that decision.

This message is to tell you this, but especially a big THANK YOU to anyone who participated, showed up as guest, ran, walked, had fun, brought family and dogs. Anyone who supported us and made these the unique events they were.

We had tons of fun, that's for sure!

We were one of the very very few (less than five?) wine running events in the whole UK when we started (as Free Range Active) in 2017 (or 2016?)!

We introduced these type of events in the Midlands or just about anywhere north of London.
Families and businesses have grown thanks to us and we take pride in that.

We supported very important charities such as When You Wish Upon a Star and TRIBE Freedom Foundation. There is never enough support for charities like these. Please check them out.

We expanded to three cities, three types of events, and reached several hundreds people from Sheffield/Manchester all the way down to Brighton.

We supported and gave honour to the Made in England (wine especially!) and the beautiful English outdoors.

So with a heartfelt decision but great memories, we say THANK YOU and all the best for your future.

Hello everyone. Sorry for the silence but the last two years got a hit on us like too many others.

We might resume events this summer but things are still bein evaluated.

Hello! Long time no hear!

We’re here, we’re monitoring the situation, but unfortunately we can’t have events. Nor our Running Clubs, nor the London events, nor the big Vineyard Events.

As you can imagine, we simply can’t.

But, back it was nice to see last month how some people were still meeting up for a social 5k, a glass (or two) of wine, some chat, and keeping the spirit of Wild Wine Run alive!

During this lockdown it’s not possible, but once we open up again people can meet in small groups (I’ll imagine, we’ll see), and we’ll see what next year brings for us, you, and everybody.

A reminder that vinetards, wineries, wine bars, and others are holding events, virtual tours, and virtual tastings to support the English wineries and vineyard, the producers, and the local independent businesses (check the Emerging Vines team for example).

We haven’t forgotten about you, I hope you haven’t forgotten about us! We’re still here and we definitely hope we can meet you again sooner rather than later with the new year.

Few thoughts on Summer 2020 and the hard decision from the land owner to cancel our Loughborough event.

We're already working on the next steps and we'll be back with even more and better events.

As many of you would know, I had to cancel the Loughborough Summer event on Sunday 6 September at Walton Brook Vineyard . The cancellation came from the winemaker and the landowner for various Covid-19 related reasons. It was a hard decision but I understand the situation and the concerns, which I
