Classes available at The Unit

Early Morning, mid-morning and evening classes are available.

Whether its 06:30 am 9:30 am 17:30 18:15 there is a class For you

Are you the person to get it done at 6:30 am

After the school Run, 9:30 am

Or evening person 17:30 or 18:15.

Is it fitness?

Is it a Goal your trying to hit?

A good laugh or smile with friends?

Or is it an escape for an hour and a chance to clear your head?

For me, it clears my head.

Refocuses my mind

Reminds me of what I'm capable of as a person.

You need that sometimes, you need to remember how you can take things for granted so easily

The Unit can help everyone and especially with all the above, just come for a laugh, have a good workout or get a sweat on, escape for an hour

At The Unit we take pride in our members having the best experience we can provide from stepping in the door to leaving:

- We are here to help with needed stretching and mobility to help prevent injury.

- In classes, we coach technique and watch over people throughout a session.

- Non-judgemental coaching...we all have to start somewhere! Not everyone is at the same level, so there’s always a PT on hand to help with regressions and progressions of exercises.

Is a class at The Unit hard / Difficult?

Anyone and everyone is welcome to a BST or
Bootcamp class

We help everyone by giving you different options throughout the class either regressions or
Progressions with the exercises.

Also our classes are varied in style and set up so all classes are different

We’ve always took pride in welcoming everyone in to help with there fitness/ wellbeing / something else

Like our other great members your gain great confidence over time , we don’t expect everyone to be doing anything crazy in your first class .

You can have a look at the timetable for the week on there.

You can book classes a week in advance .

Monday classes are focused on lifting technique and a workout.

On Monday we teach Lifting Techniques. All our coaches are qualified and experienced.

We break down the movements and build up your confidence with working with the barbell.

- weightlifting is fantastic resistance exercise for your muscles, joints and tissues to build strength, definition and help keep independence into the later years
- did you know you continue to burn calories up to 72 hours after resistance exercise!!

Don’t dismiss it until you’ve tried!
