Morgan Small Bore Rifle Club

Morgan Small Bore Rifle Club Sporting Rifle Range The Morgan Small Bore Rifle Club is located near the banks of the Murray River in the Riverland of South Australia.

The club caters for all shooters from 10 years old (a parent or guardian must attend up to 16 years old) to pensioners and disabled. The club can supply rifles and equipment for Bench Rest and Prone shooting.

Morgan small bore rifle shoot was shot over 90m last Saturday.
Flags were from zero to 45 degrees, but not gusting, good
conditions to call the wind and fire, instead of waiting for a
particular condition to return.

Morgan 50m smallbore shoot last Saturday, David Lock
arrived by motor cycle with out a rifle because of flood
waters out In the station country ( couldn’t get to his rifles )
however he used a class 3 club rifle and done well.

flag were mainly still the odd shot was lost through
inattention. Paul Helbig shot well after being back
shooting for the last 4 or 5 weeks, He hasn’t been
shooting for a number of years.

The Morgan Small Bore Rifle Club held a three-day round of the state titles with events including 20m air rifle beach rest, 10m air rifle supported, Prone Rifle, 90 and 50m Bench Rest Rifle. The event was well attended and enjoyed by all thanks to good weather conditions and the support of our sponsors The Mid Murray Council and the Terminus Hotel. We extend our gratitude to our volunteers without whom the event would not have been possible.
