𝐖𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬

We know Wurdi Baierr Stadium is used by many locals, so we wanted to let you know about these upcoming works in the foyer. 🏐🏀⚽🏋️‍♀️🏸🏃‍➡️

From tomorrow, work will begin to create internal access from the aquatic centre to the stadium.

🙂Construction areas will be safely separated from the stadium foyer and users.
🙂Work will be completed in three stages and will not affect court availability.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟏: Closing off commercial kitchen and office for redevelopment into new office space.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟐: Construction of the new internal access between the two buildings. Once the work is complete this opening will remain closed off until the centre opens in early 2027.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟑, 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: Removal and replacement of the stadium reception desk and kiosk. A temporary reception desk will be in place.

Once the aquatic centre is open, access to the stadium will be via the new centre entrance.

Happy Easter everyone. Just letting you know Wurdi Baierr is closed for the Easter weekend. We will re-open as per usual on Tuesday 7 April.

We will be open throughout the holidays via the below trading hours;

Mon-Sat: 8am-5pm
Sun: 8am-3pm
Public Holidays: CLOSED
*Afterhours booking for associations and user groups only

Wurdi Baierr Stadium is closed for the Grand Final Parade - 26 September.

We will be open over the weekend 27 & 28 September.

⚠ Contractors will be completing improvements to Wadawurrung Way near the Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation Centre construction site early Thursday.
🚧 This will mean full closure of the northern section of the road and new car park, as indicated on the image, between 6.30am and 11am. Footpaths will remain open.
The work will improve safety around a new stormwater culvert installed as part of the aquatic centre construction project.
The southern section of Wadawurrung Way will remain open, with limited parking, but please plan ahead for the closure and consider using other parking areas along Merrijig Drive, and around Grenville Oval and Grant Pavilion, off Yallock Court.

Caught without a pad or tampon? 🫣

No need for toilet paper origami😬 as there are now free pad and tampon vending machines at Wurdi Baierr Stadium and KMCC in north Torquay!❤️😮‍💨

The vending machines are thanks to the Victorian Government, who are making free pads and tampons available across the state.
