Well done to the TBGS team which includes a few familiar faces!

Dare to celebrate an exceptional team performance.

The U18 Water Polo Team travelled to Northampton on Monday to compete in the National Plate Finals. After a strong set of group matches, TBGS qualified for the third‑place play‑off. Following a tense first half, the boys showed real determination and pulled ahead in the second, securing a well‑deserved 6–4 victory over Bolton College.

Our congratulations go to: Bernat, Henry, Toby, Theo, James, Greg, Ollie and Jasper.

A huge thank you to Helen Condy‑Young and Rob Harvey for giving up their time to coach and support the team.

Happy Mothers Day to all of us who spend hours sat by the side of pools, sweating, watching endless tumble turns, polo training, spending hard earned money on the 99th pair of goggles this year (me), recording times, driving to competitions and developing webbed feet in the process......we salute you

Another busy and exciting 2 days of swimming for the club at week 2 of the Devon County Swimming Championships last weekend.
We had 19 swimmers competing and resulting in places in 32 finals. Well done to all of those who made a final and those who came away with medals, such a huge achievement at county level. A huge thank you to those who supported our swimmers, Neil, Trina, Kerri, Gareth, Claire and Head Coach Kev.

I'm with Plymouth Leander Swimming this weekend for their Christmas meet.

Two great days of competition planned, so I'm expecting some great action both in and out of the pool.

To competitors and family members who I've not had the pleasure of meeting before, I hope you have a great event and I will endeavour to cover as many individuals as possible. Apologies if a few don't get images from this event as I'm working solo across the 10 lanes.

Here are some fantastic achievements from our Water Polo players to finish off the year ...

Ollie N has been selected to train with the GB potential squad for the 2027 European Championships.

Evie S has a place with the Welsh Development Squad in readiness for the next Commonwealth Games.

Josephine T and Yasmine C have both been selected for team GB training.

Our U15 boys went to the National Age Groups selection in Manchester and achieved 9th place from 16 teams and NASWPC player Henry B was the tournament lead scorer.

Toby C-Y was chosen as Player of the Tournament at his event.

Well done all!

What a week!
Our annual Club Championships are almost complete, with only the Skins event this evening left to go. A huge well done to everyone who has taken part, we’ve seen many impressive PBs and even a few club records broken. Trophies and medals will be presented at our Celebration Evening on 3 January, and tickets are now available for members to purchase on Active.

Last night we also held our Club AGM, where we welcomed several new committee members. We also sadly said goodbye to Kathy Forward, who has been an invaluable part of the club for many years. We wish her all the very best with her move to Wales and will miss her enormously. Thank you, Kathy, for everything you have contributed to the club!
