two years ago, I ran the very first shoot to inspire camp with more heart than certainty. I didn’t know what it would become. all I knew was that it needed to exist. there was no big plan, no guarantee it would work, just simply a deep belief that girls in our community deserved more space, more opportunity, and more faith poured into them.
what started as an idea rooted in a lack of opportunity has grown into something far bigger than me. and honestly, that’s still hard to wrap my head around.
as the founder, I’ve learned that this isn’t about having all the answers or getting everything right. It’s about showing up, listening, and building something alongside the people who believe in it just as much as I do.
to every athlete who showed up nervous, excited, unsure, or ready to work,
thank you for trusting us. to every parent who believed in something new and let us be part of your daughters’ journey and supported us thank you. to every coach and volunteer who gave their time, energy, and hearts – thank you. shoot to inspire exists because of you.
shoot to inspire has never been about numbers, recognition, or growth for the sake of growth. It’s always been about people. about confidence. about creating a space where girls feel seen, supported, and capable of more than they think.
I’m incredibly humbled by what these two years have held, and deeply grateful for the community that has formed around this mission. watching these girls grow in confidence, skill, and belief in themselves has been the greatest privilege.
from the bottom of my heart — thank you for allowing me to build this with you. thank you for believing in this, and in us.
here’s to continuing this journey, one camp at a time. 🩷
