Tom Cave’s hopes of a back-to-back Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally victory were dashed last weekend, as the Welsh rally driver suffered a heartbreaking start in his bid to take his second Cambrian win.

Sadly it wasn't meant to be today 😓

The rally gods were against us from SS1 and didn't move onto our side all day long. It was a tough pill to swallow after last year's fantastic victory but that's rallying as they say.

A huge thank you to all our supporters for their backing that helped make our comeback happen.
Well done to the Castrol MEM Rally Team for taking the provisional BRC Teams title 🤝

Not the morning we hoped for 😓

Sadly we picked up a puncture in the opening stage of the rally forcing us to stop and change.
That was made worse by a malfunctioning nut gun so we sadly were forced to take a maximum.
Hard to get a rhythm after that but let's see what this afternoon brings 💪

It's good to be back! 🤜🤛

It's a big day ahead with some impressive competition. But we will give it our all and see if we can defend our 2023 Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally crown whilst helping the Melvyn Evans Motorsport squad in their BRC teams bid 🤝

Nothing like a Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally comeback 😜👋

Really looking forward to being back in these legendary stages, plus being back in the British Rally Championship to help the Melvyn Evans Motorsport squad this year is pretty special.

There will be a big battle out there tomorrow - looking forward to seeing how we get on.
