Ralph Reijnders has won the 13th Easter tournament. He remained undefeated in a tense battle between the advanced players. In his last round, his opponent Tom Schotte missed a win at move 56 to win the game and the tournament, causing a 33-31 finish. Also his 5th game against Brecht Van Damme - at that time both players were undefeated - finished in 31-33, with his opponent missing a win at move 55. Dimitri Vaes was runner-up with six wins.

No less than 29 players showed up in this sunshine tournament, with many junior and promising players. We also welcomed three new players.

Nancy Darck (5 points) was best woman of the day, while Fabio Buccoliero (4 points) was our best beginning player. He won against an advanced player and promotes himself to advanced. The best promising player of today was Pat Rine (4 points), while Sander Schotte (4 points) won the U18 category. He defeated his first advanced player along the way! Sacha Burnay (4 points) won the U14 and was the best promising player with a rating below 500. Norah Janssens (4 points) was the best U10 player of the day. Bert Sedeyn (3 points) was the best new player. All players will be rated in the next rating update.
