My journey with strongfirst started a long time before I ever booked my first cert. When I started as a trainer and was first introduced to kettlebells I looked to learn the from the best but couldn't believe what you had to get the cert because I'd already taken a few certifications and none held the students to such a high grade 😳 also didn't even consider it at the time because the heaviest bells in the gym were 16's, and them bad boys were strictly for the lads 😂
A few years passed and got myself into a bad state, really overweight, still a trainer but never training, you wouldn't even believe the amount I was eating, lazy and uncomfortable all the time. ( I'll put a picture in my story of me then cause I don't want this to be a transformation post )
Something had to change so it made sense for me to pick the one thing I never thought I'd be able to do 😂
From that day everything changed for me.
3 Years Later and I've done so many things that if you had told me, or anyone who knew me years ago about there's no way we would of believed it !
This weekend I completed the Strongfirst Bodyweight Certification, my 4th Strongfirst certification, and that afforded me the chance to test to become Strongfirst Elite.
I kept it fairly quiet that I was gonna test for Elite because I knew was going to climb Mont Blanc 12 days before, which was an absolutely MASSIVE achievement for me and all my training was geared towards that.
And I passed !
Strongfirst Elite !
It's surreal to me.
These are alot more than certifications.
Thank you to everyone I've met on this and every course along the way, you're all a different breed !
Thank you for organising
Thank you for teaching
Thank you for hosting
Thank you , , and and everyone else for pushing me
Thank you for supporting me And Dukie and Maia
And thank you to all my own students for listening to me
It's never about being the best, it's about making everyone else better.
I think thats what is.
