What a superb weekend.

The Bluespeed/TQ awning manged to podium in Elite and Clubman.

Jon had a DNF in heat 2 meaning despite two 2nd place finishes, he started 14th and last in the final.

He drove through the field, and took 3rd place on the last lap. A stunning drive.

Craig managed a really steady drive in the final to come home 2nd in Clubman, beating several Elites in the process. A superb effort

Chris had a solid day in the 881 machine, running with his 79 number. Always great to see him out in a kart.

Charlotte made our day though as she continues to progress...

A win that nobody else probably saw, as she improved all day, in heat 3 she managed not to get lapped for very 1st time... she punched the air like she had won the race and we all did the same...

Its the little things that make this all worth while...

What a great weekend, we leave very very happy...

Up the Hill Challenge 2026

Chris rolled back the years on Saturday evening to win the Elite Up the Hill 10 years on from his previous success.

Driving the 88 kart, he managed a flawless run to take the win.

In the Clubman Section Craig manged to win also meaning a double for the awning. Again a superb time that would have placed highly in the Elite field.

A superb moment was caught on camera just after Chris had finished his effort, the two celebrating together.

This is the second time the awning has doubled up in this event with Jon and Ian winning Elite and Junior in a previous year.

Well done also to Charlotte for competing in her 1st Up the Hill, and Sarah had a go again in the parents class.

Well done all...

Round 6 of the The ESKC Scottish Prokart & Loncin Cadet Championship 2026 was another cracking weekend.

We had 5 karts in the TQ/Bluespeed awning this weekend, with Charlotte taking part in her 1st prokart race day. We also had Gavin Craig join us in his 173 machine. It was his 1st time racing at ESKC and did very well for his 1st meeting. We look forward to helping him progress.

Up at the Front Jon and Stewart both had a class win during the day and finished 2nd and 3rd in Elite.

Off track we had all our usual support team, they do such a fantastic job. They all know who they are, we thank you so much, could not go racing without you.

We also had the Up the Hill challenge on Saturday Evening. More about that tomorrow...

Its now a quick turn around for us as we head north this weekend coming for the final round of the Hamish Ross Series, this time at North of Scotland Kart Club.

Well that was quite a weekend.

Friday practice went ok, Charlotte got some laps in her newer kart and showed some good pace, more racing for her next month.
Jon got some solid long runs done in preparation for Sundays E plate before handing the kart to Angus to get ready for the Saturday.

With both the 88 and 881s regular drivers at Lewis's wedding on the Saturday it was over to Angus and David so score some points for the team.

Angus managed to come 2nd on the day and bagged a race win along the way. A superb effort in a kart that he is not used to. He will be joining Jon again soon in the 88.

David managed some solid results in the 881 and made sure we don't have a zero as our drop score.

The Sunday saw the regular drivers back in the seat and Stewart was defending his E plate crown.

Race 1 saw him take the win in Elite after a superb last lap battle with Brendan in the 33.
Jon had a race long battle with Callum in the 99. He managed 3rd in Elite.

Race 2 saw a disaster for Jon off the line as one of his engines cut out costing him around 15 seconds. He got it re fired and set off on what was a superb drive. He made it all the way to 3rd in elite and when the 33 and 99 came together this became 1st. He held on for the win.
Stewart meanwhile had a bit of a bad run through the pits as a small mechanical was fixed. He was running 5th in class when the above mentioned incident happened. This meant his 5th became 3rd and put him in place to retain his title.

As the boys crossed the line they had equal points and with Stewart taking the higher qualifying position he retained the Elite E plate crown and the team scored a one two.

Just a superb weekend all round.

Congratulations to Lewis and Lauren on their wedding, it was a great day.

Thanks to everyone involved in keeping us racing.
Chris, George, Claire, Sarah, Mel, Holly, Alison and all the kids.

Thanks to all the organisers and marshalls, couldn't go racing without you.

We have a few weeks off before we have two weeks racing in a row.
