Well that was quite a weekend.
Friday practice went ok, Charlotte got some laps in her newer kart and showed some good pace, more racing for her next month.
Jon got some solid long runs done in preparation for Sundays E plate before handing the kart to Angus to get ready for the Saturday.
With both the 88 and 881s regular drivers at Lewis's wedding on the Saturday it was over to Angus and David so score some points for the team.
Angus managed to come 2nd on the day and bagged a race win along the way. A superb effort in a kart that he is not used to. He will be joining Jon again soon in the 88.
David managed some solid results in the 881 and made sure we don't have a zero as our drop score.
The Sunday saw the regular drivers back in the seat and Stewart was defending his E plate crown.
Race 1 saw him take the win in Elite after a superb last lap battle with Brendan in the 33.
Jon had a race long battle with Callum in the 99. He managed 3rd in Elite.
Race 2 saw a disaster for Jon off the line as one of his engines cut out costing him around 15 seconds. He got it re fired and set off on what was a superb drive. He made it all the way to 3rd in elite and when the 33 and 99 came together this became 1st. He held on for the win.
Stewart meanwhile had a bit of a bad run through the pits as a small mechanical was fixed. He was running 5th in class when the above mentioned incident happened. This meant his 5th became 3rd and put him in place to retain his title.
As the boys crossed the line they had equal points and with Stewart taking the higher qualifying position he retained the Elite E plate crown and the team scored a one two.
Just a superb weekend all round.
Congratulations to Lewis and Lauren on their wedding, it was a great day.
Thanks to everyone involved in keeping us racing.
Chris, George, Claire, Sarah, Mel, Holly, Alison and all the kids.
Thanks to all the organisers and marshalls, couldn't go racing without you.
We have a few weeks off before we have two weeks racing in a row.
