We are selling all remaining sound equipment from 5 studios, sound and lighting boards, stage lighting and cabling, pipe and drape, Marley flooring, sound proofing panels, POS equipment, office phones, display furniture, custom bulletin board frames, more. Keep and eye out. We'll post the items on our social media. We can also be contacted by email at [email protected].

We’ve been training professionals and dancers for 29 years. It’s what we do. Many of the biggest names in the industry have taught at EDGE and are alumni of our programs.

The Covid pandemic changed everyone’s life. Despite all the challenges, we had hope for our future and looked forward to getting back to doing what we do best. Nevertheless, business hardships brought on by the pandemic have recently become more than we are able to overcome.

It’s with a heavy heart we inform you that effective immediately EDGE Performing Arts Center will close indefinitely. Academy at EDGE will close as well.

Our Academy at EDGE certificate programs resume August 16, 2021. School is back at our new location in North Hollywood. Check out our academyedge.com website for the 2021-2022 School Year catalog. We are accepting applications.

We're excited to announce our new temporary location in the heart of North Hollywood as we complete our new studio in 2022.

Los Angeles country is still in the highest COVID19 risk tier. While we're not able to have indoor studio classes at the moment, we will soon. Classroom capacity levels will increase as the risk tier level goes down.

We hope to see you soon and get back in the studio.

Don't forget, studio and virtual classes are included on our online schedule. Look for new classes coming soon.

A Toast 🥂 As we say goodbye, and good riddance, to 2020 our dance world has been turned upside-down. Our lives and livelihoods transformed. We’ve experienced more about leap-of-faith and resilience than anyone wanted to know. We’ve seen how connected we are and how places like EDGE are important in our lives. We don’t know where we’ll end up or what we’ll look like, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. We will rebuild. Our lives will come back. Today, as we look forward to the future and on the past, we wish you hope, prosperity, health and love here-and-now. Happy New Year 2021 - Bill Prudich and Randy Allaire 🥂

Understanding California’s COVID19 tier assignments for Dance Studios

Every county in California is assigning to a tier based on its test positivity and adjusted case rate. Dance studios are classified with Gyms and Fitness Centers.

Presently Los Angeles county is at the highest tier of Widespread. The only exception for in-studio classes are for studios that operate a Day Camp for children and minors that include strict distancing and face mask requirements.

When allowed to return to in-studio classes only a percentage of capacity with distancing and face masks is permitted.

Naturally, this will have a dramatic effect on studios in general and especially on those whose students are primarily adults. We will eventually get through this and hopefully put it behind us for good.
