We have an immediate requirement to remove all our property from Mallory Park before the end of the month… just over 3 weeks away.
Does anybody local have space for me to temporarily keep our 20ft storage container?

**FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT**
Just finished a meeting with the circuit management company Real Motorsport LTD, Unfortunately, they have now cancelled our contract with immediate effect, meaning we can no longer operate as of now. I can only assume this is in response to recent media and contact by our local MP, although they are citing it as a historic breach of contract on our behalf.... if that was the case, why not issue the termination last week or the week before or a month or year ago?

Sorry to all those who are booked onto sessions, TT's, GO TRI etc. and sorry to Army Triathlon who had a full event planned on Wednesday day.
I really have tried everything I can in a professional way, but their attempt to belittle me during the meeting by saying our community is not a community at all and we are just a drop in the ocean (reacting to the number of responses to our last announcement). I really am hurt and saddened it has all ended in this way.

Your support and kind messages have meant a lot, showing at least me, that we do have a wonderful community.

**ANNOUNCEMENT**

I have been in negotiations with Mallory Park Race Circuit management for the last few weeks after having our rent and fees more than doubled from the end of this year, this comes after a 30% increase last year. Unfortunately, with this increase in costs, as of the end of this season, Race Rapid will no longer be able to operate at Mallory Park Race Circuit in any capacity. Given the set costs onsite, I think it will be unlikely we will see any swimming, cycling or running at Mallory Park beyond this without a huge shift from the circuit management.

I have exhausted every available option to keep us going and obviously completely devastated that I have to stop pursuing my dream. The lakeside triathlon centre will be removed in due course. Decisions are still to be made over our youth academy and club.

Our final public open training session will be Thursday 15th September for our open swim and 10 Mile Cycling Time Trial. The day before on Wednesday 14th September 6-9pm we will allow our customers to use our facility free of charge and invite you and our customers to join us for a tea/coffee and cake and to say thank you for the support over the last 4 years. We can still support any private bookings/events up to the end of this year, we will need to receive booking confirmation before Friday 16th September.

It leaves me to say, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you all over the last 4 years, thank you for being a part of our creation at Race Rapid Mallory. I have no idea what the future holds for me, but hopefully we will cross paths once again.

Great fun at the Triathlon National Relays today, 4 teams did brilliantly, picking up 1st and 2nd overall in the afternoon races. Well done team!

We have 2 spaces available in a team for the national triathlon relays this Saturday after a couple of injuries.
This is a really fun event and we have a laugh doing it. If want to have a bit of fun doing a triathlon as part of a team, drop us a message. 😊
