Football Association of Singapore Home to the Lions and Lionesses 🦁 The Football Association of Singapore is responsible for developing and advancing the game at all levels.

Providing a structure for the game to flourish and governing the running of football in Singapore, the FAS also ensures that the Laws of the Game are adhered to, from the professional Singapore Premier League to amateur leagues. Organising and running league and cup competitions, the stewardship of international teams, the establishment of a youth development, women's football, refereeing and coaching frameworks are some of the affairs of the FAS. Mass participation and the appeal that crosses divides makes football the most popular sport in Singapore. Mission:

The Football Association of Singapore is deeply saddened to learn about the passing of former Singapore National Team head coach Barry Whitbread.

Barry served as head coach of the Lions from 1995 to 1998, leaving an indelible mark on Singapore football. His tenure culminated in a historic moment in 1998, when he led the team to our first international trophy at the Tiger Cup.

His contribution to the game and to Singapore football will always be remembered and cherished.

We extend our deepest condolences to Barry’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Our U20s fall to a 2–0 defeat to Chinese Taipei in our final Group J match.

Despite the result, we finish our campaign in second place with six points, securing promotion to the Qualification Phase of the next AFC U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers 💪🏼
