Hi My Lovely World,

How are you on this gorgeous, sunny, brilliant day?! I hope you are well and thriving as always....

I awoke this morning and put on my Pandora station to give me a hit of the old favourites of my childhood in Singapore with my beloved sisters, brother, mom and dad.

Songs included: Karen Carpenter's rich, Alto voice singing "Yesterday once more", a song I sang so often with my sister Anna and family.... We even sang it for my aunty Rose's Christmas competition amongst family, if I am remember correctly.

Barry Manilow's soft crooning voice and song brought me back to my brother John. My sister Janet's sweet and melancholy voice singing David Soul's "Don't give up on us baby" and the way she would lean out of the car window to sing her own song while us 3 would harmonize and sing together....

These memories has me feeling happy, comforted and sad too at times. Sad that we must grow up and move away from home base to start our own life and way.

Now at 56 years old soon I grapple daily between living my life in a way which honours the values my parents brought us up with and our own gathered understanding and experience.

I think and work towards this: If I practice with all might and consciousness to be what I need to be true to and along the way, inspire, reconnect, correct, re-errect core values that make any sweet soul feel worth living and fighting for again, then I would have lived my life well and would-in effect-make my parents and my deepest Self-proud.

Today I shall be singing with my community choir and shall contribute my dramatic soprano voice to our dear group. If I have a chance at a fine high note which can set my spirit free and my group, then I shall be most happy. In unison, we accomplish and heal so much. Yeah!

Later today I shall be coaching a brand new young girl of 6 to sing.... I am so nervous and excited! Yeah! Kudos to Julieta, the mom, for hearing her daughter's wish to sing and spotting my poster on the wall on Boswell Dance Academy. Yeah!

Sometimes you just got to jump! Don't be asking too many why, why, why? It just is! Jump and leap is what you do for the biggest, brightest You! Hahaaaaaaaa.... Yes, I am in glee because I live for that.

Have a super, duper day on me world. I love you.
Your loving coach, Trish

Hi My Beautiful World,

A gorgeous and shinny day to you in-spite of the little misty in the air... When you have trees, mountain views, flowers, green luminous moss to gaze at when you walk out everyday, you got yourself alot of grace. Yeah!

Yesterday my sister in law's husband, Alex, passed away at the break of dawn after a courageous attempt at beating cancer. He did so well with the help of his wife, Lynn, the first time; but this time around it was too much for his frail self to handle.

Join me in paying respect to a man I didn't spend alot of time with or know too intimately but I knew he loved having fun in life and his character was one who would find humour in situations so he might bond or speak with others in good energy. My beloved husband and I always appreciated that.

I am happy he is no longer suffering, no longer in pain. He is finally free of this body of ours which has many human limits even if we do our best to take care of it.

Our prayer was that he pass through the door of death quickly, easily and without fear. When this dear body of us start to fail rapidly, compassion and kindness demand we help him to let go so he too can rest. Ah.... Life is tough!

As a 56 year old soon who has always been interested in death, I know this touches all of us intimately. I get we are to live our life triumphantly with as much pomp and courage as we can muster. And although sentimentally, it is tough to say goodbye to those we love dearly, it is also our most important earthly journey.

Leonardo da Vinci said: While I thought I was learning how to live, I have been learning how to die.

I love that guys... Meditate on that today and let your love and joy overflow to all things and all beings around you in gratitude, joy, love and respect.

I hold you close!
Your loving coach, Trish

Hi My Lovely World,

How are you on this brilliantly gorgeous day?!

We have a sweet, sunny, misty with clouds and burst of sunshine kind of day, all over Queens Park's trees, cherry blossoms and magnolias... It is beautiful to be alive to it all. Wow!

I hope your struggle isn't too hard today and for those out there in some dire straits that is hard to imagine, our heart goes out to you....

When you see human being suffering, it brings home the pain and suffering of real life-our humanity. If your heart is awake and your spirit, you will feel the double edge sword of joy and pain. That is inevitable...

Our hearts are meant to feel all kinds of colour of humanity; of joy, suffering, sorrow, bliss, hope, gratitude, awe, reverence.
Don't shirk it, feel it. it will make you bigger and brighter and fuller.... Yeah!

Yesterday I sang and recorded "Misty Blue" by Dorothy Moore with my dear piano player, Andy. I was high and nervous, wanting and needing so much in such a short time. The Universe was good and we covered it beautifully and I was wailing away and letting my voice and heart cover the earth.

Within it I wept and yelped for mankind at large which is so much part of me and us. I celebrate life and YOU!!

Please keep well and enjoy, as much as you can...
Much love,
Your faithful and gleeful coach,
Trish

Hi My Lovely World,

It is a beautiful, grey misty cool day here in New Westminster and I love it! As long as there is no snow, I'm in heaven!

All our flowers of spring are out. The magnolias of all different shades and floral configurations are a miracle to gaze at. Our cherry blossoms here invite our hungry eyes for joy and beauty to feast on and so I do when I go out for my walks...

Nature is God. How true and appropriate. Ah... Gratitude my fellow journeyers.

What is my heart calling me to say this morning? Ah...

Take time to feel, to listen, to reflect, to be part of the "Quiet" in your soul so you might live this life in a way you can feel peaceful about towards your end.

There is much to be joyous about in the "gung-ho" things of life which is part of our ego-personality identity. But part of our life's journey in our middle age and over is to slow down in our spirit of striving into appreciating all of life itself and what we have been through. To contemplate and incorporate the divine is surely our most sacred and compelling journey.

We have so much to learn from planet Earth and this beautiful, glorious Universe has so much to teach us and to give to us. Let us learn! Yeah!

I leave you in love and joy.
Your loving and gleeful coach, Trish

Hi My Lovely World,

How are you? Did you see that lovely, glorious day outside those who are experiencing summer-like weather?! Well, let me tell you it is incredibly gorgeous here too. And we have need of it after a tough, cold winter for us BC iers! Yes!

As usual, I get up in the morning with a barrage of things I am to do today and the emotional and mental worry of wanting to get it done but don't know if I can. It is my own "driven" who drives me. Hahaa..... Love it!

So amidst my own spiritual practicing of getting out of my own way and into a divine place of peace, spaciousness and empowerment where I am able to be flexible-in the moment-listening to what is more important to do and to get to from moment to moment so I don' t lose the richness within my moments, I am also wishing you all very well! Yeah!

Long sentence but that's the way it goes this morning...

You have my heart and love!

Peace and love be in your hearts today.

Enjoy!
Lots of love from your gungho coach, Trish

22/03/2017

My Lovely World,

How are you doing?! Awesome I hope! (Big Smile)

Where I am today in New Westminster, British Columbia is a grey, mild day but there is nothing mild in my spirit as I am ready to go! Yeah! I feel like "thunder" basically... Hahahaha..

I promise you I will be thundering away in my voice later in my workout while doing my dance/cardio and whatever spring-like motion this 56 year old body can muster. Yeah!

It's sweet to know with age we get to train in being gentle with ourselves and our body despite the young gung-ho, competitive energy around us. Pretty funny too. I just tell them to go ahead and make my day. I stand back and enjoy the amazing vitality! Yeah!

I get to practice a lot of trust and healing which is what I came to earth for-no doubts about it. And when my practice of trust in others and in situations pens out in a way which hits me right in the heart and in my belly-it feels like coming home...

So I shall sing with my whole heart, voice and body for you today. This will be my rave for the day!

Enjoy my dear spirits and don't lose heart for I am eternally with you! Yeah!
Love your gleeful and faithful coach, Trish

Hi My Lovely World,

I have joy and energy this morning in-spite of our grey, damp weather! Yeah!

You don't think a little weather condition is going to stop our titanic spirit, do you? Oh NO!! A big resounding "NO!" You won't let it! Yeah!

Now that's the spirit. There is just so much to do that is worthy of your precious attention and emotional, mental, physical and spiritual energy. Did I cover everything? Hahahaaa...

This aliveness in our bodies is for you to share, to enjoy, to take in, to savour within our human frality to hold attention and to hold "meaning." You are to hold this understanding long enough in your psyche so it inspires you with joy, appreciation and energy.

Know that there are many others in this world around you who don't have time to take in all this; know that there are those in our midst who are dying and will be envious of your energy, youth and time. Does that give you perspective?

If we, as the collective human race, can do our best to wake ourselves up when we get sluggish, we will do well.

There are many to reach out to, if you lack connection and meaning. If you are happy to stay low profile because you need the rest and break, then by all means enjoy it and practice gratitude and savouring till you are refreshed. Then, get ready to go! Yeah!

No moment is wasted if you awake yourself.

I love you guys out there and you can be sure, whether I am in or out, on the phone or coaching, dancing or singing, on my own or for others, I will be Joy. It is a salute to "God" and to Life!

Blessings to all!
Your loving coach, Trishxoxo

Hi My Lovely World,

Happy international Women's day! Yeah!

We celebrate-all over the world-women who have braved themselves to overcome tremendous obstacles for future generations. We celebrate our grandmothers and moms who worked hard to sacrifice for us so we may be more free in society and perhaps more self-expressed in our world.

Hopefully, your self expression includes many and is aligned with all the attributes of spirit when we are most aware.

We are a collective; the sooner we realize that, the richer and more connected we become.

Down with fear mongering when it causes us to mistrust more than we already do coming into earth. We owe it to our highest spiritual evolution to undo the shackles that hold us back and down from moving forward and healing.

So today, in this quiet, sweet cold day of Spring and Winter, I ask you to join me in love and meditation as you do your day. Show some love dear people of mine for I am with you!!

You are loved!
Your faithful and loving coach, Trishxoxo

Hi My Lovely World,

Hope you are doing well today in whatever your path is!

Your attitude, your spirit means everything to this world. Yeah! Know that!

Today is Karen Carpenter's 67th birthday, if she had lived. I just got this from my friend, Rob Snopek of Madhouse Records. Thanks Rob!

My 2 beloved sisters, Janet and Anne and dear brother John sang continuously to the Carpenters in our childhood in Singapore. You couldn't stop us! We made music come alive in our "Kampong" of Jalan Alsagoff. Kampong means villiage when Singapore was still rural and third world.

My mom would buy us from hard earned, saved monies to buy us the small 45s and the bigger ones, which I have no idea what they are called. We would press our ears to the speakers to hear every part that was sung to absorb it totally.... It was heaven.

Daddy would play wonderful radio for us every morning to wake us up. He was always happy and mellow loving his family. We were so blessed to have music as a gift from both our parents.

All 4 of us kids had perfect tone and pitch in our voices, we could sing and we sang for anyone who care to listen.

I miss all of that and especially today, when it is my sister, Anne's birthday, I miss our singing family... Yes, life can be tough that way.

The great news is: we love each other and miss each other everyday through our distance and we are kept alive and engaged through each other's memory and personality traits.

It doesn't matter what I am doing, they are always near.

When I coach or sing, I feel them, I sing them, I draw on their love and memory of shared times. When I cook or do housework, I sing them and feel their titanic, funny ways.

When I need to sob at not being together, I also rejoice and take in we continue to shower our love in our own scope of influence, wherever we are.

Mom and dad would love and appreciate that.

Happy 53rd birthday to my wonderful sister Anna and may she know she is loved dearly everywhere.

I love you guys out there listening.
Blessings and go catch or create some joy!!
Much love, Your coach, Trishxoxo

Hi My Lovely World,

How are you today? Hope you are doing well!

Today I am battling a small bug in my body so have to make sure I watch my breathing and from time to time, quiet down to just 1 thing at a time. Excellent training for the ever-moving forward to the next thing mindset. (Big Smile)

Yesterday I sang my heart out at our community choir practice and got to sing some beautiful, soprano notes I so love. I tell you, singing is for all souls! There is nothing like it.

It trains so many parts of you: your brain, psyche, emotional and physical outlet, and your connection in a space with all others. Love it!

Working with others as always hones in on the areas you are interested in making peace with; i.e., your personality. Yep! Have some fun with it too! Life never stops teaching you, if you want to learn!

Have fun with yourself daring new things and watch you complete them. Feel our human frailty and know we are all in company rather than apart. You are more together and the same-more than you know.

Enjoy your moments as they come! Blessings!
Love Trish, your faithful coach

Hi My Lovely World,

Hope you are having a great day!

I am certainly enjoying and taking in this mild, gorgeous, no snow, spring-like day. Ah... I am ready for no snow and the budding of spring flowers everywhere. Spring is my favourite season!

Our life goes by so quickly that it is a feat to stay focused and present and not lose sight of our ability to savour each moment as they come to us.

Even stressful or painful moments have lessons to impart, which when we are done with the grieving or struggling with what is, we could digest the lessons coming at us.

Ah... As always for human kind and our ego personality, only when we are open, ready and willing can we fully take in and process what we learnt.

Those we dare to learn, dare to stay open and ready to grow so our beloved earth is a conscious place will have hope in their hearts, mind and spirit.

So stay joyous and focused my dear, there is much for us enjoy!

Gratitude!
Much love, your faithful coach, Trish

Hi My Beautiful World,

Look at this special day, it is just brilliant! Wow!

Hope you all are doing well and handling your life powerfully as best as you are able.

Strife is part and parcel of living our life on earth and we can't get away from it but we can grow our strength through our divinity consciousness and find our grounding when we need it.

I have had a busy, full weekend of coaching, being with friends and cooking for friends we love and share time with. It sure is a privilege to be alive and engaged in it all...

Moments are here to give us a chance to fine tune what we are working on in ourselves for our spiritual journey so time comes to us with that sense of calling and responsibility to do it well.

As frail human beings, we will not pass our time with flying colours all the time but this is just so you can see where you need work. So stay focused, grounded in "God", whatever "God" is to you, and don't keep up your work in love, hope and joy.

You have my love, trust and support!
Have a beautiful day guys!
Much love,
Your loving and faithful coach, Trish
