Evo-Stik Premier Champions 1 FC Halifax Town A.K.A.

The Shaymen are the official football team of Halifax, West Yorkshire, England and are currently in the Evo-Stick Premier Division. The ground is called The Shay and their nicknames is The Shaymen. FC Halifax Town was founded in 2007 when the former club Halifax Town AFC was disbanded and relegated from the Blue Square Premier Division. The new club was formed and were placed in the Unibond First

Division North. Since then they have won the league title and automatic promotion and are looking for back to back league titles and promotions to work their way back into The Football League.

A follower messaged us this brilliant story…

Back in September, me and a few mates started a save on Football Manager and discovered Halifax goalkeeper Nat Ford. For some reason we stuck him in centre-mid and he ended up getting 36 assists. After that I dropped him a message on Instagram and we arranged to come down to the Hartlepool v Halifax game.

We waited nearly six months to finally see him play, got a flag sorted for the day and he even came over and gave us some gloves after the match. Absolutely class day out and an even better bloke 😂

Safe to say FC Halifax Town have got a few new fans now 🔵⚪️
