Dillon trained hard all winter and has been on fire, he won the Cross Champs in December, was runner-up at Cross Champs in San Diego, he clocked 13:13 for 5000m in Boston, qualified for the World Championships at US Indoor Nationals, and has now made the final in the 3000m at Worlds in Serbia!

Give him a follow and tune in tomorrow!

Just in case you forgot to set your alarm, I’ll be racing the 3000m final tomorrow morning live on CNBC or Peacock at 5:05am MT.

There’s a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into an event, for the athlete and the staff. When you have an athlete willing to go the extra mile and do a little storytelling it creates even more work but it’s worth it to give the fans an inside look at the process and what makes the athlete tick. I want to thank for all his work in Arizona and here in Oregon.

has worked her butt off to get crazy fit for this 50k World Record attempt tomorrow. Excited that we have a mid-April goal race again this year after a year hiatus and thankful that she trusts me with putting on this event. I couldn’t have done it without the help of course measurer extraordinaire, David Katz (pic 3, his work is pic 4). David has measured the last few Olympic Games, the upcoming Olympic Marathon in Sapporo, the World Championships, many of the big city marathons, and was the official and course measurer we used for the in December.

I also want to thank my old teammate with the Mammoth Track Club, 5000m Olympian (pic 5). His event team is amazing and he’s been on top of all things course related and was super helpful with connecting me with local vendors as well. I appreciate his expertise, his friendship, and his ability to accommodate last minute requests.

The stage is set, Des and I have been talking about her entering the ultra world for many years now, and tomorrow she gets to tackle her first.

They say everything is created twice, there’s the mental creation, then the physical creation. Few things are better than having things go from your mind’s eye to reality. Des has been the 50k World Record holder in my mind since this process began last year, I know it’s been the same for her. Tomorrow the mental creation becomes physical.

This guy, , is one of a kind. Med student, soon to be anesthesiologist, husband, dad, and a 2:08:59 marathoner (courtesy of his big win at the in December)! He showed up in a big way there and is always a threat when he toes the line. Proud to get this agreement done, and thanks to Reebok for their commitment to this amazing human and athlete. He’s earned it!

St. Patrick’s Day never comes without the luck! 3 years ago I signed with at their HQ (pictured here). I was thrilled to have such deep commitment and support from a company that saw potential in me for helping build up their reputation in the running world via the .

Today we recommitted to that goal and mission as I officially re-signed with Reebok. I can’t thank my agent enough for tirelessly working on this huge opportunity to continue as a professional in the sport. I routinely remind myself how lucky I am and to not take anything for granted.

While I don’t have a new photo to commemorate the day (thanks Covid-friendly DocuSign), I do have some gear I want to give away! Be warned it’s all mostly my size, but on this SUNDAY, I’ll randomly choose two people who 1. follow and and 2. tag a running buddy on this post. That’s it!

So proud of today for going out far faster than she ever has before (69:37ish for the half) and still was able to grind it out to the finish to run 2:20:32 and become the second fastest American women in US history! You only find your limits by risking it all and Sara certainly did that today.

I believe there is more there for Sara but right now I am just grateful for what was a beautiful run and SO, SO grateful to the and it’s staff for hosting such an amazing event for these athletes to get to perform in.

Great to see so many sub 2:10s on the men’s side and so many sub 2:30s on the women’s side. US marathon is in a very healthy state right now. A special congrats to coach on her impressive 2:28 marathon debut!

Tune in to NBC at 8 EST to catch the race.
