Respecting Our Game 🌹🪢
Lytchett Minster RFC would like to remind all players, coaches, parents, supporters and spectators of the RFU’s TREDS values, which underpin everything we do in rugby:
Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
These values apply to everyone involved in our club, both on and off the field.
Our match officials, coaches and volunteers give up their time to ensure that fixtures can take place and that players can enjoy the game in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment. We ask all members of the rugby community to treat them with the respect they deserve.
Parents and spectators are encouraged to support all players positively from the touchline. However, we would like to remind everyone that under RFU age-grade rugby regulations, spectators and parents must not enter the playing enclosure during matches unless specifically invited to do so by a match official or coach in an emergency situation. This allows referees, coaches and players the space to perform their roles safely and effectively.
We appreciate that rugby can be an emotional and passionate sport, but any concerns regarding officiating, coaching decisions or player welfare should be raised through the appropriate club channels rather than during matches.
By working together and demonstrating the TREDS values at all times, we can ensure that Lytchett Minster RFC remains a welcoming, respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
Thank you for your continued support of our players, coaches, volunteers and match officials.
