😊Try 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗦𝗛 for Grande Prairie Subaru Try-It Day on September 19th!

💙Looking for a sport that keeps kids active and constantly engaged? Try squash! Led by the Grande Prairie Squash Club, this interactive introduction to racket sports will be at the Eastlink Centre Squash Courts.

🔵Squash is an exciting, fast-paced indoor sport where two players hit a rubber ball off four walls. Beginners can learn the basics quickly, making it a wonderful way to try something new. From their very first session they can be involved in fun rallies while boosting their agility, hand-eye coordination and fitness. It sharpens reflexes and builds core strength too.

⚫️Squash can be played throughout your life by all ages. They’ve had local athletes attend Provincials and Nationals. Follow the Grande Prairie Squash Club for weekly drop-in sessions and upcoming events. More info at [email protected].

👟💧For the squash try-it session, wear clean, indoor non-marking shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. Protective eyewear and rackets are provided.

✳️Thanks to local sponsors there is no cost to participate in Grande Prairie Subaru Try-It Day. Youth age 6 - 17 can sign up for one or two sport sessions.

✅Registration opens at 7am on Thursday, September 10 at gpsportconnect.ca.

A big thanks to the outgoing treasurer Brad Schafer for all his help in the role during the past three years. And a big welcome to Robyn Maloney in her first year on the board.

Tonight is the night! Grande Prairie Squash Club AGM will be occurring tonight (September 9th) at 6pm at the Eastlink Centre courts. If interested in joining our volunteer board to help grow squash in Grande Prairie or learning more about the Club's operations, feel free to come on down.
