Sometimes we need to fall, in order to learn how to get back up and move forward. I'm great full to have met, trained, learned & qualified with some many in this mace community

On Sunday May 15th, we are going to run a little fundraising sessions called Swings & Slams in aid of raising funds to help Ciara Barry raise funds for treatment over in United States.

Quite simple it'll be €5 for the session, we'll have games & challenges along with
DARREN & (Thomas) hopefully completing a 10,000 rep mace swing in 10 days. Starting the swings on the 5th 🔨🔨🔨

Ciara is a nurse who has battled so hard over the last 2yrs with this & this is her 4th bought with this condition.

She is a nurse who works in the centre with Darren's wife

We will add a link to our .ee to the charity on our bio

We will keep you all updated on what's happening with the days events 💪💪💪⁸

What is this ball like structure??

This is a Mace....

A mace is a 2000yr old tool used for training and in war!!!
A weapon of choice of Hindu warriors.

It is made up of 2 sections, a steel pole at 1 end and a heavy steel ball at the opposite end. When used correctly the uneven weight distribution makes this a powerful training tool.
A descendant of the gada a wooden stick with a concrete head.

The Gada is also a favourite of pehlwani wrestlers who used it gain amazing strength & mobility. One of which was the Great Gama, the only Pehlwani wrestler, never to be defeated!!!
