A fishing trip I never planned… but one I’ll never forget. 🎣❤️

I was supposed to squeeze in one last cast before becoming a dad, but he had other plans and made his entrance early. After two weeks in the NICU, we finally got to bring our baby boy home.

The next day, we stepped outside for some fresh air… and I made a couple casts by the lake while holding him. Second cast brought this fish in. Not the biggest catch, but easily one of the most meaningful.

Three months old and already making memories in the deer stand. 🦌❤️

December 7, 2024 marked their first hunting trip together. They didn't see any deer, and her favorite hunting buddy slept through most of it, but that's not what the day was about. The best part was simply being together and starting a tradition that will hopefully last for years to come.
